If you want measurable outcomes, track the right metrics. “Did it pass SEO value?” is usually unknowable on forums. But you *can* track: referral clicks, time-on-page, signups/leads from that page, and even the number of people who quote your reply or ask follow-up questions. Those are real signals you’re posting in the right places. The most successful forum link building efforts I’ve seen are basically audience development disguised as helpful participation.
